Belly is a personal initiation ceremony of becoming a mother. 
It is performed with the help of the audience,
And deals with the complexity of feelings which a first pregnancy brings: Bliss and joy together with fear and anxiety, and especially: the fear of separation from my artistic practice and from the audience. 

Using wool strings to bind together the audience, myself and my soon-to-be-born daughter, I weave this love-triangle, manifesting the deep connection between us.
