Nofar Sela
נופר סלע
Nofar Sela is a theater maker, performance artist and dramaturg residing in Jerusalem. Sela’s work is located between theater, visual art and text and is based on an intimate connection with the audience, often making use of its presence and participation. Her work has been shown at the Munich Kammerspiele, Theatertreffen Festival, the International Exposure Festival for Israeli
Theater, among other places.
Sela is a graduate of the Kaleidoscope artist program, Jerusalem (2023), and the Goethe Institut’s International Forum artist programme, Berlin (2018). She holds a BFA with distinction from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem (2012) and studied interdisciplinary art at the School of Visual Theater, Jerusalem (2007).
Between 2014-2019 Sela was a member of Pandora, an independent artist initiative in Jerusalem, where she developed her work, accompanied the development of her colleagues' works, initiated and curated performance events.
נופר סלע היא יוצרת תיאטרון ופרפורמנס, בימאית, דרמטורגית ומלווה אמנותית. סלע מתגוררת בירושלים ויוצרת מופעים בנושאים חברתיים, תוך שימוש בדימויים חזותיים, חומרים פלסטיים וטקסט.
יצירותיה הוצגו על במות רבות בארץ ובעולם, לרבות תיאטרון הקאמרשפילה של מינכן, פסטיבל Theatertreffen בברלין, החשיפה הבינ"ל לתיאטרון ישראלי ועוד.
סלע היא בוגרת תכנית "הקליידוסקופ" לתיאטרון ילדים של תיאטרון הקרון בירושלים (2023), ושל תכנית האמנים הבינלאומית - The International Forum של מכון גתה בברלין (2018), ובעלת תואר ראשון בהצטיינות מהאקדמיה לאמנות בצלאל (2012). ב-2007 סלע למדה אמנות בינתחומית בביה"ס לתאטרון חזותי.
בשנים 2014 - 2019 סלע היתה חברה ב"פנדורה" - קולקטיב אמנות ותיאטרון בירושלים, במסגרתו היא פיתחה את עבודותיה, ליוותה את עבודותיהן של חברותיה לקולקטיב, יזמה ואצרה אירועי פרפורמנס.
מאז שנת 2014 ועד היום סלע משתפת פעולה כדרמטורגית, בימאית ומלווה אמנותית עם אמניות כמו: עלית קרייז, תמי יצחקי, אריאל דורון, רות חוף, השוטרת אז-אולי ועוד. בשנת 2021 הקימה את אתר "כלים ליצירה", בו היא כותבת על תהליכי יצירה ודרמטורגיה.
